I've coached swimming at Laval Swimming Club since 1991. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Chloe: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
