Chitra S. Hegde
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Saket, Delhi, India
- Valley View Workshop
- Since 1992
- English, Kannada
I've worked in tiling since 1992. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,700 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Chitra
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Chitra: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
