I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Chitra
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Chitra: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
