Chitra A. Iyer
Children's librarian in Jalandhar
- 🇮🇳 Jalandhar, Punjab, India
- Jalandhar Library
- 1999 to 2017
- English, Malayalam
For 18 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Jalandhar Library.
I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. A library should feel like a living room.
More about Chitra
I still remember the favorites of every regular.

What gifts mean to Chitra: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
