Chioma Ronke Adebayo
Taught accounting at Ikeja Secondary School
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Secondary School
- 1981 to 2010
- English, Hausa, French
For 29 years I was the accounting teacher at Ikeja Secondary School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Chioma
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
