Chioma Jumoke Salami
33 years teaching agriculture at Pioneer State University
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Pioneer State University
- Since 1994
- English, Igbo
My subject is agriculture, and for 32 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Pioneer State University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Chioma
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Chioma: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
