Chinmay C. Kulkarni
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Kochi, Kerala, India
- Kochi Workshop
- Since 1979
- English, Marathi
I've worked in tiling since 1979. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 890 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Chinmay: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
