I've been writing from 1986 to 1997. First as a hobby, then as a job and finally as the thing I couldn't stop doing.
I run a small writing group that meets every second Thursday. I answer every message, eventually.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Chinedu: A gift would give me a bit more time to write instead of taking on extra work.
