Chihiro Okada

Home economics teacher at Tokyo Girls' School, 1990 to 2002

For twelve years I was the home economics teacher at Tokyo Girls' School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Chihiro

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
