Chidinma Joy Ogunleye
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
- Badagry Works
- Since 1983
- English, Hausa
I've worked in thatching since 1983. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 2,240 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.
What gifts mean to Chidinma: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
