Chidinma Amaka Hassan
Oud and traditional drumming teacher
- 🇳🇬 Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
- Port Harcourt Orchestra
- Since 1992
- English, Yoruba, Spanish
I play oud and traditional drumming. I started in 1992 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Chidinma: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
