I coached rugby at Ogbomosho St. Mary's Boxing Gym from 1987 to 1998. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
What gifts mean to Chidi: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.

I still think about the end-of-term party. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Poznań.
