Chidi Festus Olawale

Geography and economics teacher, Kano

  • 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
  • Kano Public School
  • 1983 to 1992
  • English, Hausa
For nine years I was the geography teacher at Kano Public School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Chidi

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

you taught me geography in 2014 at Kano Public School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Thank you again.
