Chiamaka Juliet Daramola
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- The Starlight Trades Guild
- Since 1980
- English, Igbo
My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 1980 in Kano and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Chiamaka: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
