Chiamaka Idowu Uba

Coached wrestling for 38 years in Abuja

  • 🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
  • Abuja Swimming Club
  • Since 1988
  • English, Hausa, Spanish
For 38 years I've run the wrestling program at Abuja Swimming Club in Abuja. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Chiamaka

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
