Chiamaka Abosede Nwosu

Painter, potter and teacher at Little Kano Gallery

  • 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
  • Little Kano Gallery
  • 2012 to 2025
  • English, Spanish
I'm a watercolor artist based in Kano. I've been making things from 2012 to 2025 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. I also teach a weekly class at Little Kano Gallery, which keeps me honest. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Chiamaka

I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Chiamaka: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
