I taught Spanish at New Delhi Secondary School in New Delhi from 2016 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I learned every name in the first week. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Chhaya

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
