Chhaya P. Kushwaha
Teacher at Thane Primary School, loves geography

For 44 years I have been the geography teacher at Thane Primary School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,060 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Chhaya
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Chhaya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
