I taught social studies at Bayview Middle School in Mumbai from 2015 to 2024. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Chhaya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Chhaya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
