I teach environmental science at Lotus Middle School in Grand Rapids since 2003. Most days I teach Year 9, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Chhaya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Chhaya: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
