I taught geography at Andes High School in Pune from 1984 to 2020. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 1,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Chhaya
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Chhaya: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
