Cherry W. Villanueva
Youth athletics coach and mentor
- 🇵🇭 Lapu-Lapu, Cebu, Philippines
- Gateway Boxing Gym
- Since 1980
- English, French
For 46 years I've run the athletics program at Gateway Boxing Gym in Lapu-Lapu. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
