I taught economics at Good Shepherd Primary School in Paris from 1984 to 2011. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Cheikh: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
