Chebet Wambui Nakamya
Biology and Spanish teacher, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Grammar School
- 1987 to 1996
- English, Swahili
For nine years I was the biology teacher at Nairobi Grammar School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 350 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Chebet: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
