For eight years I was the special education teacher at St. Joseph's Public School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

you taught me special education in 1999 at St. Joseph's Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You taught me special education in 2023 at St. Joseph's Public School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected. Truly.
