I'm a embroidery artist based in Zanzibar City. I've been making things from 1991 to 2020 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by the sea. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
