Chebet Akello Tumusiime
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Mukono Works
- Since 2013
- English, Swahili
I've worked in plumbing since 2013. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 650 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Chebet
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Chebet: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
