Charmaine P. Manalo
31 years teaching early years in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Public School
- Since 1997
- English
For 29 years I have been the early years teacher at Oakland Public School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.
More about Charmaine
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Charmaine: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
