Charmaine G. Galang
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇠Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines
- Since 1983
- English
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Bacolod, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
More about Charmaine
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Charmaine: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
