I spent 15 years as a lecturer in materials science at St. Mary's Institute of Technology in Columbus. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Charlotte
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
