Charlene T. Mazibuko
Oud player and teacher in Pietermaritzburg
- 🇿🇦 Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
- Pietermaritzburg Willow Creek Orchestra
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Afrikaans, Spanish
I've played oud from 2017 to 2025, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Charlene
I wrote my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.
