Charlene G. Pienaar

Professor of civil engineering, Mthatha College

  • 🇿🇦 Mthatha, Eastern Cape, South Africa
  • Mthatha College
  • 1994 to 2006
  • English, Zulu
My subject is civil engineering, and for twelve years I got to share it with undergraduates at Mthatha College. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Charlene

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
