I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1988 at The Stellenbosch Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
