I'm a street art artist based in Durban. I've been making things from 1987 to 2022 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Charlene
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Charlene: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
