Chao Feng Feng
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Illinois, United States
- The Bamboo Works
- Since 2006
- English, Mandarin
I've worked in tiling since 2006. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 720 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Chao: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
