I've coached chess at George Athletic Club since 2017. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
What gifts mean to Chantel: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
