Auto repair, done properly
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

My trade is auto repair. I opened my own shop in 1984 in Johannesburg and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Chantel
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Chantel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
