Chanida Oranuch Mahawong
Coached rowing for 28 years in Bang Khen
- 🇹🇭 Bang Khen, Bangkok, Thailand
- Bang Khen Swimming Club
- 1992 to 2020
- English
I coached rowing at Bang Khen Swimming Club from 1992 to 2020. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Chanida
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Chanida: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
