Chamari Piumi Silva
Teacher at Westbrook High School, loves Spanish
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Westbrook High School
- Since 1990
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 36 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Chamari
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Chamari: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
