Chamara Mendis
Accordion player and teacher in Galle
- 🇱🇰 Galle, Southern, Sri Lanka
- Galle Orchestra
- 2011 to 2023
- English, Sinhala
I've played accordion from 2011 to 2023, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Chamara
I wrote my first song when I was 13. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Chamara: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
