Chai Somsak Sombat

Biology and design and technology teacher, Chiang Mai

  • 🇹🇭 Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand
  • Chiang Mai High School
  • 1989 to 1997
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Chai: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
