Cesar G. Castillo
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Gateway Repairs
- Since 1979
- English, Filipino
I've worked in weaving since 1979. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,360 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
More about Cesar
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Cesar: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
