Ceren Gamze Karaca
Teacher at Istanbul Public School, loves French

For 37 years I have been the French teacher at Istanbul Public School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 890 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ceren
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ceren: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
