For 42 years I have been the Spanish teacher at İzmir High School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Cengiz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Cengiz: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
