I coached baseball at Istanbul Athletic Club from 1991 to 2003. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Cengiz
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Cengiz: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
