I've served Maple Ridge Mosque in Çankaya from 1980 to 1999. My days are mostly visiting, listening and helping people carry things, sometimes literally.
We run a weekly meal that everyone's welcome at, whatever they believe. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Cem: A gift would go toward our weekly community meal.
