I taught English literature at Manila Grammar School in Manila from 1995 to 2018. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 760 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Cecilia: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
