Cecilia P. Perez
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇭 Lapu-Lapu, Cebu, Philippines
- 1995 to 2019
- English, Filipino
My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 1995 in Lapu-Lapu and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 17 years later for another job.
More about Cecilia
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Cecilia: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
