Carter W. Stanton
Folk music and guitar teacher
- 🇺🇸 Cleveland, Ohio, United States
- Cleveland Orchestra
- Since 1987
- English
I've played folk music since 1987, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Carter
I write my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Carter: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
