I play brass band and saxophone. I started in 1986 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Carter
I write my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
